About
Rewild is a tile-laying game for one or two players in which you take on the role of villagers in the world of Arborea, carving out and protecting ecosystems so that young animals can flourish and thrive. Each turn, you place square, quartered tiles into your growing ecosystem tableau. Each quarter of the tile represents a habitat, and the tiles are placed off-set so that smaller empty squares are created between them. Once one of these empty squares is created, players may fill it with a scoring token and place a creature meeple on top. At the end of the game, score points for each creature equal to the value on the point token multiplied by the adjacent habitats that match the creature’s colour. Players also score for unused villagers (which can be used to alter which scoring token is taken), and for having large connected habitats. -description from developer
