Chaos Chess is a genre-mashing game that turns a common chessboard into a dynamic and exciting board game. The core rules of the game remain, but humorous cards allow players to break the rules of chess to do fantastic stuff like Make a piece move like a different piece Move an opponents piece for them Freeze a piece so it can't move Send a piece to or from "Limbo" And much more. There are counters to track permanent and temporary effects. Eight new pieces included with this version highlight how flexible the game of chess really is - all while punching the game up to the next level.
