About

A cooperative game of 4 villages employing laborers (with the help of elephants, buffalo, artisans, chisels) to harvest rice, build a central temple, avoid invasions and establish a monarchy. You have to complete the temple and fill the thrones before the deck (or rice) runs out. But build too fast and events may overwhelm you! A collaborative card game that captures the spirit of ancient Angkor. Every aspect of City of Glory: Anglor card game is intended to recreate the experience of the ancient Khmer kingdoms of the Angkor era. It's a game that requires players to work together through communication, collaboration and strategy to win or lose as a team. Each player oversees a village where labourers can farm rice or help build an Angkor temple. Train your labourers as apsaras to dance for the gods or as artisans to decorate the temple. Grow rice to support your kingdom. Buy buffalo and elephants to grow and build more quickly. Complete the temple before the gods no longer favour your city. Each game includes a set of 237 cards, instructions for collaborative and competitive gameplay, temple and village playing areas, and informative winner cards that allow you to compare your completed temple with those of Angkor, the city of glory. Recommended for ages 12 and up, this game is for 2-4 players. Made in Cambodia, the temple game cloth is dyed with 100% Cambodian mud.
