A scandal has shaken the Carnival of Cádiz. A member of the jury has been bribed, and it is up to the players to uncover the truth behind the case. In El Credo, players take on the role of investigators trying to determine who committed the bribery, what was offered in exchange, and where the deal took place. Using deduction, observation, and the information gathered throughout the game, players gradually eliminate possibilities until they are ready to make their accusation. Players move around a game board inspired by the Gran Teatro Falla, visiting locations to make suggestions and collect information from their opponents. Special El Credo cards introduce additional actions and events that can reveal clues, alter the investigation, or provide strategic advantages, making every game different. The game combines the familiar deduction mechanics of classic mystery games with a setting inspired by the traditions, humor, and culture of the Carnival of Cádiz. Knowledge of the carnival may enhance the thematic experience, but logical reasoning is the key to solving the case.
