Acerca de

Gobblet blends memory, strategy, and stacking into an abstract showdown of wits. Each player controls 12 nesting pieces in three sizes and takes turns placing or moving them on a 4×4 grid. The goal is simple: line up four of your own pieces in a row—but watch out! Bigger pieces can gobble smaller ones, hiding them (and potential threats) from view. What sets Gobblet apart is its memory mechanic: you must remember which pieces are hidden beneath others, because lifting the wrong one might reveal your opponent’s victory line. It’s a battle of foresight, bluffing, and board control. Often compared to Cover Up for its nesting and memory mechanics, Gobblet also shares DNA with Othello in its emphasis on spatial control and shifting board dynamics. Like Santorini, it invites forward-thinking and positional play, though Gobblet keeps its abstract roots with no theme—just pure tactical tension.
