This book contains 38 games recommended for grades two through five, but older kids or adults could enjoy them, too. Templates for dice or spinners are included, but usually all that is needed is a few markers or coins. Variants on Nim, Magic Squares and Tic-Tac-Toe, as well as games using tangrams, pentominoes and other manipulatives. Aimed at teachers, but has nicely presented abstract strategy games as well as those involving numbers.
