But will the loyal cultists be able to interpret the divine commands and fulfill the summoning ritual? Or will the sneaky heretics ruin it all? Mask of the Elder Gods is a team vs team social deduction game, where one player dons a mask of their choice to become the deity. Everyone else are cultists, working together to interpret the actions of the deity in order to successfully collect the items needed for their ritual. However, the deity is unable to communicate in any way except through accepting or rejecting offerings, and tricky heretics are secretly scattered about the team, trying to spread confusion and distrust. —description from the publisher
