Psychopoly is a Monopoly-inspired board game themed around psychology and famous figures in the field. Instead of buying streets, players acquire properties that represent renowned psychologists and psychological concepts, with each property card often including background info about its “owner.” The goal is similar to classic Monopoly: roll the dice, move around the board, buy properties, collect rent, and aim to be the wealthiest player. The game comes with themed components like hand-sculpted pewter tokens (e.g., Maslow’s pyramid, Freud’s couch, a brain, lab rat), money, dice, and special card decks such as “Community Service” and “Synchronicity” that add psychology-flavored twists to gameplay. Board spaces include things like ethics boards and famous theoretical stages, and there’s even an “asylum” space with a chance for Free Therapy, mixing humor with learning. It’s essentially a playful, educational re-theme of Monopoly that celebrates psychology history and ideas while delivering a familiar property-trading experience.
