When you and your friends decided to spend the night in this old hotel, you had no idea about the murders that had taken place years prior, and you certainly never could have imagined the animated puppets that caused it all. But you did accidently find the trunk that imprisoned those puppets for all these years, and you just couldn’t help yourself when you pried it open. The puppets are now trying to complete their dead master’s work by bringing his soul back, and all the puppets need are a few key items and an unwilling victim to be the body donor. Puppet Master: Return to Bodega Bay Inn, is a cooperative, cat-and-mouse-style, survival game for one to four players, that uses Hand Management and Deck Hunting to influence its claustrophobic, skirmish gameplay. Explore the hotel as a modular game board you design each time, so every game is different. Each puppet has a unique personality and the “Puppet Behavior Dial” changes their strategy throughout the game. Having the right cards in your hand and a few doors strategically locked might just give you the time you need to escape but it’s a race against your quickly dwindling Deck to collect the information you need to stop the puppets before the puppets complete their agenda. —description from the designer
