Rive is a multi-faction strategic game where the contents of your customizable deck (units, actions & battlefield manipulation cards) interact with a hex-based game board. Designed for 2-4 players, and taking about an hour to play, Rive blends together familiar game mechanics to create a combat focused, highly replayable, deeply strategic and unique gameplay experience. Attempt to destroy your opponent’s fortress before they destroy yours by playing a variety of different units, actions and battlefield manipulation cards from your hand. Each unit comes with a corresponding hex tile that is placed strategically on the battlefield. Utilize special powers unique to your faction and to your units to give you an edge on the battlefield all while taking advantage of dynamic game board features to block or trap other units.
