The Peach Festival

Peach Festival is freely inspired by the popular literary work ‘Journey to the West’, one of the greatest classic Chinese novels, which was published in the 16th century. All players use the same dice roll to make their decisions. Their objective is to place ascending numbers within commodity columns in order to score points and create satisfying chain reactions. During each turn 5 custom Commodity dice are rolled. Then, players may choose one of the following options: Take Commodities: Obtain commodities according to the dice rolled, possibly manipulating them by eating Peaches of Immortality or Take a Peach By obtaining commodities, players unlock special column or market rewards. When activating a column, players may obtain new Request cards showing fantasy characters of the novel (they represent game end objectives) or hire valuable Merchants. —description from the publisher
