パスクル (Pasukuru)

About
Players compete in a light, abstract party-card contest where a poor starting hand is not the end of the story. By passing at the right moment and flipping cards to reveal new strengths, players can reshape their options and try to escape before being left behind. Pasukuru (Pass & Flip) is a climbing and shedding card game in which players try to empty their hands by playing cards higher than the current number on the table; the last player with cards loses. Cards have numbers on both ends, but normally only the top number is used, and cards usually cannot be rotated freely. However, two effects can flip cards: when a pair of the same number is played, all players rotate their entire hands, and when a player passes, they may choose one card from their hand to rotate. Players may play a single card, a pair of equal numbers, or a three-card run; after a pair or run, the next player only needs to beat the resulting table number, not match the same pattern or card count. Passing is “soft,” so a player who passes may still play on a later turn.
