These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GamesBond platform ("Service"), operated by GamesBond ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
GamesBond is a board game content platform that provides game reviews, strategy guides, how-to-play training, curated lists, head-to-head comparisons, price tracking, and AI-powered game knowledge features. The Service includes community features such as game collections, play logs, comments, and a gamification system.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
3. User Content
Your Content
You retain all rights to the reviews, comments, play logs, and other content you create using the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
AI-Generated Content
Game knowledge documents and Q&A responses generated by the AI features are provided as informational tools. AI-generated text and suggestions may not be unique — other users may receive similar responses. You should verify AI-generated content before relying on it.
Our Service
The Service, including its user interface, design, and underlying technology, is owned by GamesBond and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to create content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, or violates the rights of others. See our Acceptable Use Policy for details.
5. AI Features
The Service uses third-party AI models (currently Claude by Anthropic) to power game knowledge documents and Q&A features. AI outputs are generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before relying on it.
We reserve the right to modify AI providers, models, or capabilities at any time.
6. Affiliate Links and Price Tracking
The Service includes affiliate links to third-party retailers. When you purchase a game through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Price information is provided for convenience and may not reflect current prices — always verify the price on the retailer's website before purchasing.
7. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Usage data may be used in aggregate (anonymized) form to improve the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data retention, or the accuracy of AI-generated content, price information, or game data. Game information is sourced from third-party databases and may contain inaccuracies.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GamesBond's total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed $100.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason with 30 days' notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
