Descubre la Ciencia del Barrio Cívico is a collaborative board game where players explore the city through curiosity, observation, and imagination. Guided by Pelux, a friendly magical being, and their animal companions, players discover that science is not only found in laboratories, but also in streets, buildings, parks, and institutions that make the city work every day. During the game, one player secretly takes the role of Pelux and decides where key buildings of the Civic District should be placed. The rest of the group works together to observe clues, discuss ideas, and deduce Pelux’s choices. Each turn challenges players to think about how different institutions function, how they relate to one another, and why their location in the city matters. To win, players must collaborate effectively: sharing ideas, listening to each other, and making thoughtful decisions. Points are earned by correctly guessing Pelux’s placements across four rounds. The goal is not competition, but collective success, learning together, improving with each turn, and achieving the highest possible score as a team while uncovering the science hidden in the city. —description from the publisher
