About this game

A Bible-oriented word card game. The deck has 52 letter cards and 2 wild cards, with values ranging from 2 to 20 points -- the rarer, the higher. Deal 10 cards each if 2 play, 7 if 3 or 4, 6 cards if 5 or 6 play. In a turn, a player draws the top of the draw or discard pile, lays down a word or adds to an existing word or name from the Bible, and discards a card. They may also replace a wild card on the table with the letter it is currently standing for, from their hand. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the hand and its points. Each word's score is the sum of its cards' values; proper names from the Bible are doubled. If a player plays all their hand in one turn, their total for the hand is doubled. Play until reaching an agreed number of points or hands. Novar Cottage also published a different version called Alphacard Word Rummy. The rules are identical except they don't mention Bible names as acceptable words.
