About this game

The object of Brain Tame is to form words from the letters on the cards. It uses the rummy mechanic of drawing a card from the draw or discard pile, making and adding to words from the hand, and discarding a card, with a round ending when a player empties their hand. Distinctive features include: the deck includes cards for word endings "ed", "er", and "ing", as well as all alphabet letters and wild cards; the dealer chooses how many cards to deal per player (5+ recommended); words of even 1 letter (A, I) are allowed; the art reflects the company Lily Frilly's target market of young girls. When scoring words at the end of a round, most cards are 10 points each; X, Y, Z are 20 each; ER, ED, ING are 15 points each; Wilds are 50 points. There is no penalty for cards left in the hand. The winner is the first to reach the goal total agreed on at the start; recommended is 250-300 for kids, 350-500 for teens and adults.
