About

It’s challenging enough to make a regular cat go somewhere… but what if the cat is a witch? In Cat Sabbath, a trick-taking card game, players compete to make Supreme Witches come to their witchy conventions. Everyone plays one trick for each witch. Win a trick, and a Supreme Witch joins you! Remember, if you have too many Supreme Witches, your celebration will turn into chaos. So, just like cats, players must find PURR-fect balance! Cat Sabbath is a three-round trick-taking card game, where players simultaneously play four tricks to invite Supreme Witches to their festivity and earn the most Victory Points. In each round, players choose 4 Supreme Witches and play cards below every witch that doesn’t have their card yet. All cards in a Supreme Witch’s row must follow the suit of the first card played there. When everyone plays a card in each Supreme Witch’s row, the round ends. Win a trick—take all witch cards from the row, plus the Supreme Witch as a multiplier. Too many Supreme Witches on hand will lead to chaos, so you must find the PURR-fect cat balance to win the game! —description from the publisher
