A Celtic myth comes to life as 2 players manage magic and deception to conquer the provinces of ancient Ireland. The Irish, a 15 card deck, battles against Albion, a 40 card deck. When you lose a hand, the cards are discarded and sent to a permanent discard pile called the Dead Deck, removing them from the game. However, the Irish possess the magical Celtic Cauldron. Should they meet the conditions on their Cauldron cards, unique to their deck, they can resurrect their dead cards back to their draw pile. Win by either scoring 18 battles or bringing an opposing player down to 5 cards at the start of a round. Bluff, strategy, and a bit of luck are needed to be victorious playing Celtic Cauldron. —description from the designer
