About

Cooked Pirates invites you to become captain of a ridiculously incompetent pirate crew in a manga-inspired card battler. Fight with bizarre characters, like a vetetable wielding swordsman, each desperate to prove their worth in a world where gold is scarce and loyalty is bought. The gameplay revolves around high-interaction elements. Each turn has a mandatory auction with a veto twist, where players bid gold to recruit new pirates. You must carefully manage your treasury, as strong pirate come with a gold cost. In combat, you fight with your active crew-pirate, and an optional face-down pirate from your hand, allowing you to bluff powerful attacks in key moments. To win, you must be the first captain to fulfill 3 WANTED Contracts by collecting specific sets of pirates. However, the path to victory is not passive. Combat allows you to destroy rival crews or steal random cards directly from their hands. In a final twist, you cannot submit your third and final contract peacefully; you must successfully attack a rival captain in the same turn to claim the ultimate victory. —description from the designer
