From the back of the box: The aim of the game is to pit your wits against your opponents on the way to being the first to collect a full "decade" of the biggest news stories from the past 40 years. On the surface, Decade is a feel good game that allows all its players to share in their mutual history. But be warned. There'll be both good news and bad news along the way - making it a game which can both unite and divide its players. Victory may be only one news story away, but a simple act of sabotage from a cunning opponent can throw the game wide open. Tempers can flair. Being bad can be beautiful. And victory is sweet indeed! Decade defines the times - the legends, catastrophes, joys, victories, winners and losers. Because of this, it's a game which generations will enjoy for decades.
