Dossier

Duftende Spuren is a deduction and memory-based game set in a romanticized Arabian setting. Each player takes the role of a Persian prince vying for the affection of the enchanting Fatimah, the most beautiful belly dancer in the land. Fatimah enjoys the attention of all the princes but wishes to find a suitor who can recognize her not only by her beauty but also by her scent. Over the course of twelve evenings, Fatimah hides a different perfume bottle in one of the houses in the city. Players must follow the fragrant clues, using deduction and memory to determine where each perfume is hidden. The first player to correctly identify three of Fatimah’s hidden perfumes wins her heart—and the game. Similar to: The Perfumer – A spiritual successor using real scents and modern worker placement mechanics. Parfum – A light Eurogame with scent mixing and romantic flair. Aroma – A party-style scent-based deduction game that emphasizes sensory play.
