In Dumb Animals (低等动物), players enter a chaotic animal kingdom where deception, memory, and psychological play determine victory. Each card represents an animal within a quirky food-chain hierarchy, but not everything is as it seems—players can play cards face-down and bluff about their strength, daring others to challenge them. On your turn, either play cards or challenge the previous player Cards can be played face-up (triggering effects) or face-down while declaring a stronger animal Other players may challenge the declared card If a challenge succeeds, the challenger gains the cards; otherwise, the challenged player gains them Each animal card has unique effects that influence gameplay A special Carrot Coin can be used once per game to cancel or initiate a challenge The game ends when the draw pile is empty, and players score based on collected cards
