EVOQ!

"“EVOQ!” is an abstract strategy game set in a fantasy world of mythical creatures, summoning, and magic. As in chess or shogi, players win by capturing the opponent’s king piece (the Elf). Each piece’s design visually indicates its abilities. A unique fusion system, inspired by a certain sci-fi movie, allows familiars to merge via teleportation devices, adding strategic depth. Captured pieces can be reused as magical items, allowing players to trigger powerful effects that can shift the course of the game."
