Falsilux is a competitive game designed for two players. As one who has reached the lighthouse, you must survive a single night together with your friend (your opponent) and the lighthouse keeper. Your only means of protection are the shard of the lens in your hand and your ability to detect inconsistencies in the words and actions of others. Using the “Omen Cards” you receive and your conversation, you must deduce who the Mimic is, then seal its shadow within the lens shard to protect yourself. However, only one shadow can be sealed—either your friend’s or the lighthouse keeper’s. If you are human, your objective is to correctly identify the Mimic and seal its shadow. If you are the Mimic, your goal is to prevent your friend from realizing it. In either case, both players seek to expose each other’s lies. —description from the publisher
