About this game

In ancient Ériu, the High King's sovereignty rests on the voice of his chief bard — the Ard-Ollam. When that voice falls silent, the Fomorians move. Fili – A Tale of Bardic Mastery is a strategic board game for 3–8 players in which each player guides their Fili effigy across a modular hex-map of mythological Ireland, composing melodies with Note Tokens, bidding Imbas — divine poetic inspiration — and ascending through six authentic bardic ranks from Doss to Ard-Ollam. Over nine Chapters, players navigate Prophecy bidding, area movement, venue effects, and the Festival of Tara musical composition phase. Victory belongs to the Ard-Ollam who holds their title across two consecutive Chapters. —description from the designer
