II World War 1939–1945 is a historical strategy game for 2 or 3 players that recreates the conflict in Europe and North Africa from the start of the war through mid-1945. Take command of the Axis Powers, the Western Allies, or the Soviet Union; mobilize your armies, dominate the seas, conquer the skies, and change the course of the greatest war in history. The game captures the spirit of NAC’s great classics: accessible rules, quick setup, fast-paced combat, and constant strategic decisions. Its system allows you to recreate a full six-year campaign in a single game lasting approximately 90 minutes, without sacrificing the conflict’s key military and political elements. Germany starts with the initiative and a powerful offensive capability, but time is working against it. France and the United Kingdom must contain the Axis advance while awaiting the entry of the United States. To the east, the Soviet Union prepares to resist an invasion that will ultimately become the largest land battle in history. Will Germany manage to defeat its enemies before Allied industrial and military superiority becomes overwhelming? Will the Western Allies be able to return to the continent and liberate Europe?
