About

In Imposter Party, players are agents at a party, but one player is an imposter who has received no mission. Each agent receives a secret mission card, such as making a certain gesture or bringing up a topic in conversation, while the imposter receives only an imposter card. When the sand timer starts, everyone has 60 seconds to talk, gesture, and act freely. Agents try to carry out their missions just enough for the other agents to recognize them, but not so clearly that the imposter can identify each mission. The imposter tries to blend in, imitate the strange behavior around the table, and infer which mission each agent holds. After the timer runs out, players reveal the possible mission cards, then vote simultaneously, without discussion, for the person they think is the imposter. If an agent receives the most votes, the imposter wins. If the imposter is caught, they still have one final chance: correctly assign the mission cards to the agents. A perfect read gives the imposter a comeback victory; otherwise, the agents win. Imposter Party is a short social deduction party game focused on quick reads, awkward acting, and chaotic table talk rather than long debate or complex roles.
