Civilization teeters on the edge of collapse. Will you dominate the ashes, or evolve beyond them? In Peril is a strategic board game of conflict, cooperation and transformation. Choose one of six powerful countries and guide your people through a world on the brink of nuclear war. The game includes two separate editions. In Beyond the Brink edition, you compete to eliminate rival countries through tactical warfare, resource management, and advanced technologies. In Age of Humanity edition, one of your workers must survive challenges to make it to the "Unite" space, ushering in the Age of Humanity, and saving mankind. —description from the designer
