Kena Story is a cooperative storytelling card game designed for 2 to 6 players. The game challenges players to use their imagination and storytelling skills under time pressure. At the start of the game, players collaboratively decide on a main character by choosing a name, profession and city. Once the timer starts, players take turns drawing cards featuring specific narrative prompts (such as ‘Add an Investigation’, ‘Add a bag of money’ or ‘Add a romantic moment’). The aim is to turn these elements into a coherent and engaging story within 90 seconds. Science Fiction and Fantasy cards can also be used to create surreal stories. Furthermore, incorporating character cards can enhance the fun by introducing more challenging narrative styles. —description from the designer
