About this game

Forge History. Command Nations. Define Your Legacy. Throughout history, empires have risen and fallen—yet now, the past and present collide on a battlefield shaped by your hand. Will you lead your nation to greatness through strength, diplomacy, or cunning resource management? The fate of civilization is yours to decide. Legacy of Man, the debut title from Illustrious Games, is a dynamic strategy experience for 2–4 players (expandable to 8 players with the expansion) where no two games are ever the same. Build the World Anew At the start of each game, players construct the map tile by tile, creating a unique world every time. This evolving landscape ensures endless strategies, shifting alliances, and fresh challenges with each play. Command Mighty Nations Step into the role of one of four powerful nations—USA, Russia, China, or Mongolia—each with its own unique strengths. Recruit units, gather resources, and expand your empire across the ever-changing board. Forge Your Path to Victory Victory is not claimed by conquest alone. Players may win through: War: Crush your enemies in tense, dice-driven 1v1 battles. Diplomacy: Form alliances to outmaneuver rivals. Ingenuity: Build, gather, and strengthen your empire while others fight. The game ends when milestone objectives are met—but the true measure of victory lies in your legacy. Players score based on territory, resources, and surviving forces, ensuring that every choice matters until the final moment. The Experience 2–4 players (expandable to 8) 3 unique unit types, 11 miniatures per nation Average playtime: 45–90 minutes Accessible to new players, rewarding for veterans Developed and produced in the U.S.A. Will you be remembered as a conqueror, a peacemaker, or a visionary builder? The world awaits your legacy. —description from the designer
