Forge History. Command Nations. Define Your Legacy. Throughout history, empires have risen and fallen—yet now, the past and present collide on a battlefield shaped by your hand. Will you lead your nation to greatness through strength, diplomacy, or cunning resource management? The fate of civilization is yours to decide. Legacy of Man: Evolution is the vision that created Illustrious Games. This is a Legacy style game (what we are calling Evolution) for 2–4 players. (Expandable to 8 players with the expansion) We saw a gap in Legacy style games for 6 or more people, so we created our own. At the start of game 1, players construct the beginning of the map tile by tile. As the campaign goes on and more tiles get introduced, you end up with a unique world. This evolving landscape ensures endless strategies and fresh challenges with each play. Every game has something new introduced or unlocked with an objective. At the end of the campaign, you end up with the Legacy of Man base board game with an additional mechanic that you can choose to play with or not. It is a fully playable stand-alone game after the campaign, and includes the regular game manual so once your campaign is over you can still have fun playing it while remembering some of the wild things your group did creating this world. Command Mighty Nations Step into the role of one of four powerful nations—USA, Russia, China, or Mongolia—each with its own unique units. Gather resources, and expand your empire across the ever-changing board. Forge Your Path to Victory Victory is not claimed by conquest alone. Players win after getting 7 stars on the star tracker. The ways to get stars include: War: Crushing your enemies in tense, dice-driven 1v1 battles, or subsequently defending against an onslaught. Ingenuity: Building the map, gathering resources, and strengthening your empire while others fight. Objectives: Completing different tasks gives stars as well. —description from the publisher
