About this game
A simulation of the two major battles early in the Hundred Years War-Crecy and Poitiers. From Berg's introduction: "The era, and these two battles, saw a change from the supremacy of heavy, armored cavalry to that of an infantry led by the defensive fire power of the longbow coordinated with the offensive capabilities of "Men- at-arms", either mounted or dismounted." One 22x17 map in two parts, one 11x17 map, 200 cut and mount counters. 145 yds/hex, 300 men/combat unit.
