Magor the Magician

2–4 players 10 min Ages 5+ 2.0/5 complexity 5.5/10 rating

About this game

Recommended for children Ages 5 - 10. Each child simultaneously places one of their 8 potion ingredient tiles on the board. Decide whether to play a snake, bone, toadstool, or the unwanted spider tiles. Then the electronic Magor the Magician figurine (2 AAA batteries) is moved around his potions pot. He makes his little magical tune and his conical wizard hat lights up and flickers. If his hat stays lit after his piping and peeping sound is done, he is suspicious and wants to check everyone's ingredients. If you tried to sneak a spider into his potion, you are caught and most remove the tile. If his hat doesn't stay lit, Magor trusts you and doesn't check your ingredient and it stays on the board. First player to lay all eight ingredients, including the unwanted spiders, wins. Ties are possible.
