Dossier

Maxi Bour$e is a game that examines the world of stock holding. Players move around a game board bearing the names of forty (real) international corporations (i.e., PepsiCo, IBM, Peugot, etc.), buying and selling stocks in each. Stock prices change according to supply and demand. Event and Rumor cards add uncertainty to the game, and the winner is the player who can gain control of an industry (by having more than half the stock of three of the four companies within an industry) or build a conglomerate (by having more than half the stock of five companies, each in a different industry). Won the Internal Correspondence 1989 Gaming Flop of the Year.
