Dossier

Meeple Ataca is a card-based monster battling game where players compete to defeat the most meeple monsters and score the highest points. Each meeple card features a monster illustration, hit points (HP), a reward value, and colored damage icons along its edges. On their turn, a player picks one of the face-up meeple cards from the center of the table and places it orthogonally adjacent to a card already in their personal territory. Cards cannot be rotated or overlapped unless a special effect allows it. Damage is generated through connections between cards — when at least two matching damage icons on adjacent card edges are linked, the damage activates and is compared against a meeple's HP. If the total connected damage meets or exceeds its HP, the meeple is defeated. Different edge colors trigger special end-game effects: red connections can unleash massive area damage, orange pairs boost existing attacks, and other colors interact with specific monster types. The game ends when there are no more cards to replenish the central row. Players then tally the reward points from all defeated meeples, apply color bonus effects, and the player with the highest total wins.
