About this game
Meta is an abstract game and in Italian it means goal. The term is also used in rugby to indicate the objective of a team: to make a meta. As in rugby, a player's goal is to bring a piece to a meta square on the opposite side. The board is a grid of 64 squares, plus 4 meta squares in the 4 corners. Each player has 8 pieces and 2 arrow-pieces. These 2, like head-prop in rugby, are powerful, but only pieces can make a meta! —user summary
