About this game

In the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, golden lion tamarins (micos-leões-dourados) are threatened with extinction — and you must protect them! Mico-Leão is a dueling (or solo) strategy game inspired by the different species of this monkey from the Atlantic Forest. In each round, you will choose which card to bring to your sanctuary and what function it will serve: as food for the animals or as golden lion tamarins that, if properly fed, will bring victory points! In your turn, you can choose between the next 3 cards on the rondel to put in your sanctuary. This also determines what options your opponent will have on their turn — thinking a few turns ahead is crucial to securing a card you need and complicating your opponent's situation. —description from the designer
