About this game

This is a 1997 variant of Monopoly issued by USAopoly based on the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, and their surrounding suburbs. Local Twin Cities landmarks, businesses, and organizations take the place of the familiar Atlantic City streets, and are grouped according to similar types. For example, the orange group, St. James Place, Tennessee Avenue, and New York Avenue, in this edition are replaced by the sports teams the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Minnesota Twins, respectively. Another example of this is the yellow group, traditionally Atlantic Avenue, Ventnor Avenue, and Marvin Gardens being replaced by the hotels Radisson Saint Paul, Minneapolis Hilton and Towers, and The Marquette Minneapolis Hotel. The bank notes are also branded with National City Bank and Twin Cities Edition.
