About

“The train to Dunhuang takes three hours,” grunts Zhu Bajie, pulling out a deck. “Let’s play!” Sun Wukong grins, “For real money?” Tang Sanzang frowns, but the Monkey King laughs. “Kidding, Master! Don't be so serious.” He elbows Sha Wujing, who nods gleefully. Pilgrim Poker transports the characters in the Chinese classic "Journey to the West" to the modern age. Pilgrim Poker is a rowdy game of bluffing and betting. You see everyone’s cards — except your own. Only a limited number of actions is available every round. Players may raise, engage in side bets, and even change their cards. A round ends when all actions have been claimed. Normally the highest card among those who have not folded wins. However some of the cards have special powers which may lead to an unexpected outcome. E.g. the winner might be the smallest card instead, or odd numbers are all turned to 0. -description from designer
