Planes and Parachutes: The Caterpillar Club – Gaming Rules for WWII Dogfight
About this game
THE CATERPILLAR CLUB The average cockpit temperature in a WWII plane shot down reportedly increased from a comfortable 20 degrees to 3,000 degrees centigrade in a matter of a few seconds; escape was virtually impossible. These set of rules are designed to re-enact the glorious one on one air combat (Dog fighting) during the WWII period between the Spitfire and the ME109. GAME REQUIREMENTS Two, six sided dices (D6) Two paper clips (for altitude and speed bar) Plane Stats Card (Blanks provided for photocopying) Plane Manoeuvre cards. (To be cut out) Two or more 1/300-scale planes. AND A PINCH OF IMAGINATION! —description from the publisher
