Putin's Pocket is a game on the face-off between Ukrainian and Russian forces at the Debaltseve pocket, which protruded like a finger into the Russian\DPR front lines in January, 2015. The pro-Russian forces were unable to collapse the Ukrainian pocket or cut it off in January even as Putin allowed Russian battalion tactical groups to gradually take over. The whole area became a target for the many Russian artillery within range and was heavily bombarded.
