About

In Storyonics, everybody playing has to work together to make the best story they possibly can by using one of the 4 pictures on the card they drew to add to the story. The only thing is, all the stories have to make reasonable logical sense, but allow for some creativity and imagination. The first player starts by drawing one of the cards and picks one of the pictures, then describes it in any way they interpret it, usually in 1-2 sentences. Then, the next player draws a card, picks one of the images, and describes it, and so on until the deck is depleted. As a player connects their part of the story to the rest, the other players should make sure if it make logical sense, but allow some creativity and imagination. There is also another way to play Storyonics, which is Speedy Storyonics, where each player picks one of the colors that border the pictures (blue, green, purple, and red), and then one player flips over the included timer. The player to the left then takes a card and starts the story using their chosen colored frame, in one sentence, but the player must use a describing word (such as an adjective or adverb), and then the same player takes a card, and so on until they run out of time. Adults get 2 turns of the timer for their amount of time, and children get 3 turns. All players keep any cards they have described. At the end, count up the amount of cards each player has and whoever has the most wins!
