Summ oder brumm
About this game
Each player has five pawns and an own section of the game board (A, B, C, D) to move his pawns. The pawns start on the spaces with the numbers 1-5 beneath. The goal of the game is to move all five pawns to the spaces marked with 1-5 in the center of the game board. Movement is determined by a die. The pawns move strictly in their own column along the spaces marked with one to six eyes into the numbered destination space. The special marked spaces hinder or benefit the players. The game was published in the 1920's. The box cover reads in old German script: "Frohe Stunden ... summ oder brumm. Das neue lustige Volksspiel" —user summary
