Dossier

Super Shot: Tennis SX is a pure in-hand card game for 0–2 players where every shot, defense, and special skill is resolved using only the cards you hold. No table. No dice. No tokens. Just positioning, timing, and endurance, distilled into a single 54-card deck. This is a compact, travel-friendly game. With the Save Cards, you can stop at any time and resume the game later. Play against your friend (competitive), AI (solo), or just watch the fun when the AIs fight with each other. Intro Some tennis athletes are stronger defending and attacking on certain sides of the court, while others are weaker. Your goal is to identify your opponent’s strengths and weaknesses during the game and use that information to defeat them, before they can do the same to you! Before the game starts, each player receives a random deck of cards. Each card shows a shape that represents the areas of the court (grid) the player can defend and return the ball from. Players can increase the game’s pace by smashing, using super shots, or aiming for unguarded areas of the opponent’s grid. On their turn, players may discard revealed cards to obtain new ones they may need for defense and/or offense. However, players must be careful: if they discard too many and run out of cards, they lose the game. So, are you ready to battle? —description from the designer
