The Ruin of Britain: Dark Age Battlefield Rules and Campaign System
About this game
The Ruin of Britain ruleset is set during dark age Britain, covering the late 4th to the end of the 6th century. Like all our rules they are all “period specific” thus avoiding the need to write them in a way that they need to cover every eventuality in a broad range of campaigns or theatres of war. Instead, they concentrate on a specific war and model just the key features of that campaign, making for brief but historical rules. They are designed for 10mm figures, but are suitable for anything up to 28mm with suitable adjustments. This Gamebook contains: A summary of the war and details of the forces of the participants A set of campaign rules in 4 periods of the Ruin of Britain. A ruleset to fight tabletop battles either as part of the campaign or as one shot battle The gamebook comes in both a print friendly and full colour format with the playsheets needed as a separate file. The events cards are also include to be printed off and stuck onto card. —description from the publisher
