Tribe: Harsh Lands
About this game
In this eighteen-card micro game players arrange the biome cards (mountain, steppe, desert, forest, water) in a row and pick opposite sides to play on and receive a starting family card. The rest of the family deck is shuffled and three family cards are drawn with both players taking turns choosing from. The top of the draw deck determines what hazards are affecting which biomes that round. Turns involve moving families to safe zones or activating a family's special ability (such as a waterskin to counteract drought) in an attempt to grow their tribe. When the deck is exhausted the largest tribe with the most ancestral bonuses wins.
