Until It Flips! is a lighthearted dexterity game set around a chaotic version of Noah’s Ark, where animals from different groups must be carefully placed onto an unstable structure. Each animal belongs to a color group that determines how it can be positioned: some can be stacked freely or placed on elevated areas, while others must remain on the base level. Every placement affects the balance of the ark, creating constant tension as the structure becomes increasingly unstable. Players take turns adding animals to the ark, either freely or guided by dice and card mechanics depending on the chosen game mode. In some modes, players must also remove animals based on color interactions, creating dynamic shifts in the structure and forcing players to constantly reassess risk. Precision and careful planning are essential, as even a small misplacement can destabilize everything. If two or more animals fall, the ark is considered to have flipped, triggering the loss condition or ending the round depending on the mode. If only one animal falls, it is repositioned according to the specific rules of the current mode, often allowing strategic recovery or even new opportunities. Players either win collectively by successfully placing all animals and keeping the ark stable, or compete across rounds to score the most points by stacking and controlling animals. Victory depends on maintaining balance, managing risk, and making the most of each carefully calculated move.
