About this game

Produced by the Crandall & Ellis Company in 1940, the object of the game is to fill in missing words from famous quotes, most of which originate in American history. It comes with 80 quote cards, 28 red, 28 white and 28 blue counters, 400 alphabet letter tiles and a Yankee Doodle Answer Book. Examples of some of the quotes used in the game include "Remember the Maine" (Richard Hovey), "Give me liberty or give me death" (Patrick Henry), "We are through with politicians. Give us Men!" (Arthur Guiterman).
