Object: Capture the opponent's King The game is played on an 8x8 board. The pieces consists of 1 King and 8 Warriors for each side. How a Warrior moves varies depending on the number of Warriors for its side that are left on the board. The less Warriors you have, the more powerful they become. 8 - Steps forward (in the 3 - diagonal & straight - forward directions) 7 - Steps diagonally 6 - Steps orthogonally 5 - Slides diagonally 4 - Slides orthogonally 3 - Slides diagonally + steps orthogonally 2 - Slides orthogonally + steps diagonally 1 - Slides orthogonally + slides diagonally The King moves by stepping orthogonally and diagonally.
