About this game

Beaver Tail is a beer & pretzels, fixed-partnership, plain-trick-taking game that features a double deck, a long trump suit, and a focus on accomplishing feats. The game includes elements inspired by Doppelkopf and Klaverjassen. The game is played over eight rounds, and each round consists of eleven tricks. The team that wins the majority of tricks each round scores points, and both teams have opportunities to score points for achieving feats (catching specific cards, catching melds of cards, etc) during the round. After eight rounds, the team with the most points wins.
